Supporting #LasVegas and Other Happenings at #HRTechConf

October 6, 2017 Sarah Payne

As thousands of HR professionals fly to Las Vegas next week for the 20th annual HR Technology Conference and Exposition, I think we can all agree that the victims of the horrific tragedy in Las Vegas this past Sunday are occupying all of our collective thoughts.

If you’re looking for a way to help, attendees will have the opportunity to support the victims and their families by donating at the HRE booth in the expo hall. You can also click here to donate to the Las Vegas Victim’s Fund, which was organized by Steve Sisolak, Clark County Commission Chair from Las Vegas. It’s been heartwarming to see the huge outpouring of support these past few days.

As in years past, Globoforce will be at the conference this year. Here are a few ways you can connect with us:

  • Attend the panel session, “The Role of HR Technology in Driving Employee Engagement,” October 11 at 11 a.m. in the Venetian Ballroom E & F. Grant Beckett, VP of product strategy at Globoforce, will be joined by four panelists, including WorkHuman 2017 speaker and author Jason Lauritsen, to discuss the growth of technology products in the engagement space.
  • Drop by and say ‘hello’ at booth #1945. In addition to the much-loved candy wall, we have a few other surprises in store this year. Our friends from Boston-based Improv Asylum will be at our booth as we showcase a new extension of our Social Recognition platform and demonstrate a new way to think about continuous performance improvement. Plenty of Globoforce experts will be on hand to answer your questions or walk you through a quick demo.
  • Tweet @globoforce. It’s impossible to make it to every session. That’s why my colleague Mike Wood will be at the show, live tweeting highlights from the sessions and the expo hall on our Twitter account. While I’d love to be there with him, this year I’ll be at the NeuroLeadership Summit in New York City. I’ll be live tweeting as well and posting a blog recap of what I learn about the science of improved leadership.

Whether at the panel, the booth, or through social – please do connect with us next week. We love meeting like-minded HR leaders who are innovating and leading the way in creating a more human workplace.
