How Citrix Re-Built Its People Strategy Around D&I

In 2015, Citrix – a technology company with 9,000 employees worldwide – went through a major transformation. Donna Kimmel, senior vice president and chief people officer, came on board after Citrix’s long-time CEO left. She became part of the leadership team tasked with setting a new course for the company and re-designing Citrix’s strategy.

How would Citrix change its recruiting strategy moving forward? Which values would carry Citrix through its transformation and drive long-term success for the business? How should Citrix change its approach to employee growth and development?

Whether you’ve been part of a team driving a similar change management program or been an employee experiencing a strategy shift, these are all important questions to consider. After Donna led a session at WorkHuman 2018 on “Leveraging the Power of Human Differences,” she sat down with WorkHuman Radio to share more detail around Citrix’s new people strategy. That speaks to how far we’ve come in terms of a desire to create a new kind of workplace.”

As a Globoforce customer, Citrix has also worked to revamp its recognition program to be more meaningful and offer rewards centered on the whole person. Results from the recent global employee survey show 96% of employees believe Citrix treats employees fairly, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or age.
